AR-15 Build Classes

Build Class Information

Summary

Havoc Engineering Group offers AR-15 build classes to bring a unique experience to the firearms community. Attend one of our classes and walk out with a premium AR-15 that you built yourself! We partner with other FFL holders to host and conduct AR-15 build classes. See our upcoming build class schedule below!


Our lower receivers are serialized and all our components are made in the United States. All laws and regulations pertaining to purchasing firearms are strictly followed. 

NO AMMUNITION IS ALLOWED IN THE ROOM WHILE CLASS IS BEING CONDUCTED!

Who can participate in a build class?

Anyone of any firearms skillset or knowledge base can participate in a build class as long as they meet the following criteria:


  • You must be able to legally purchase/own a firearm
  • You must be the actual purchaser of the firearm
  • You must be 21 years or older and a resident of the same state where the the host FFL is located to purchase the lower receiver
  • A valid form of ID is required at the time of purchase
  • 4473's and background checks are conducted at the time of purchase

What firearms can I choose for a build class?

You can choose any firearm we offer. Check our of Firearms page to see the options and specifications. Prices are are listed on our Firearms page and the cost of a build class is the same as a complete firearm. We currently offer the following options:

  • HAVOC-15 Rifle ($1,099)
  • HAVOC-15 Pistol ($1,199)
  • HAVOC-15 Elite Rifle ($1,599)
  • HAVOC-15 Elite Pistol ($1,699)
  • HAVOC-15 Can Cannon ($799)
  • Add a Gas Piston Kit (additional $299)
  • Left Handed Firearm (additional $95)

General Build Class Timeline

Total class time is around 4 hours

  • 30 min - paperwork and background checks
  • 1 hour - upper receiver assembly
  • 2 hours - lower receiver assembly
  • 30 min - function testing, lubrication, and clean up

*Note - class times may be longer or shorter based to the skills and/or needs of the participants

What is provided

  • All firearm components and one magazine
  • Qualified and knowledgeable instructor(s)
  • Step-by-step instructional presentation and guidance
  • All necessary assembly tools

What You Need to Bring

  • A valid driver's license
  • Safety glasses (regular eye glasses are acceptable)
  • Gun case (hard or soft is acceptable)
  • Concealed carry permit (optional, but highly recommended)
  • Water source and snacks (optional, but recommended)
