General FAQ

Yes. Please contact us at info@havoceg.com. Let us know what firearm you want and where you are located. You can pick your firearm up at our location in Brookings, SD or we can ship it to an FFL of your choice. 


Yes. Please contact us at info@havoceg.com. Let us know what parts and quantity you want and we will provide a quote.


Yes. We can handle your firearm transfer. The cost per transfer is $30. Military and law enforcement transfers are $20. Please contact us before shipping any firearms to our location so we know to expect them.


Yes. Custom calibers or builds can be done. Please contact us at info@havoceg.com with your request and we can put together a quote.


No. We do not currently offer any Havoc-branded platforms outside of the AR-15. However, if you want a custom build in another platform, we can accommodate using another manufacturer. Please contact us at info@havoceg.com with your request and we can put together a quote.


Build Class FAQ

Yes! We break down the entire process step-by-step with detailed visuals and instructors to personally help you. Anyone at any level of firearms proficiency can do this! 


3 to 4 hours depending on the proficiency and dialogue of the students.  


Yes. All our lower receivers and firearms are serialized. We do not, and will not, do anything with 80% lowers. All laws and regulations pertaining to purchasing firearms are strictly followed.


No. We cannot guarantee the fit, function, or quality of your parts. Working with special parts could also delay the schedule of the class and is not fair to the other participants. This class will teach you how to install those parts yourself or Havoc can install them outside of class for an additional fee.


Modifications or substitutions are only allowed if they are Havoc Engineering Group parts. Upgrades are available at additional cost of the components. We will have some upgradable components on-hand, but it is preferred if you can let us know of any upgrades you may want to make before the day of class.


Yes. Installation of your optics and/or iron sights at the end of class is allowed and encouraged.


Yes. Havoc offers Magpul iron sites for sale at class. Optics can be provided at class, but you must order and pay for them in advance.


Yes. Installation of your own accessories such as foregrips, lights, bipods, etc. is allowed at the end of class.


Yes. Havoc can provide additional firearm accessories that you can install at the end of class, but you must order and pay for them in advance. We can get lights, pressure switches, lasers, foregrips, bipods, grip tape, etc. 


Yes. For an additional $95, we can offer any of our build kits as left-handed versions. Some part specifications may vary. Please email us in advance to ensure we will have the parts on hand for your class. Check out of Firearms page for additional details. 


Bring your driver's license, your concealed carry permit (optional, but preferred), safety glasses (regular eye glasses are acceptable) and a case for your firearm (hard or soft cases are acceptable).


 No, all tools and materials will be provided for you at class.


No. However, individual tools and complete tool kits can be ordered through Havoc and shipped to you. 


Yes. There is a $100 fee for anyone who wants to audit the course. This is for observation only and you will not be able to assemble any components.


This depends if the hosting FFL has the necessary facilities to accommodate. At a minimum, all students will learn how to perform a functions check on their firearm at the end of class to ensure proper installation of the components and overall function.


No. These classes will NOT certify you as an armorer, gunsmith, etc. The class is meant to be an informative experience that teaches individuals on how to work on their own firearms and understand them better.


No. The instructional presentation is proprietary information of Havoc Engineering Group and cannot be distributed outside of class.
